A LITTLE PLANNING • A SAFER NIGHT FOR EVERYONE
TIP 01 · PLAN AHEAD
LIGHT THE WAY
Carry a Light
Use a flashlight or glow stick. Add reflective tape to costumes and treat bags.
TIP 02 · PLAN AHEAD
HEADS UP
Watch the Road
Use sidewalks and crosswalks. Put phones away; look for turning and backing cars.
TIP 03 · PLAN AHEAD
PLAN YOUR ROUTE
Stay with Your Crew
Children under 12 should trick-or-treat with an adult. Older kids: go in groups in familiar, well-lit areas.
TIP 04 · PLAN AHEAD
COSTUME SMART
See & Move Easily
Keep hems clear of feet. Avoid masks that block vision. Choose a comfortable fit.
TIP 05 · PLAN AHEAD
DRIVER REMINDER
Expect Little Ghosts
Slow down near homes and intersections. Check carefully when entering or leaving driveways.
TIP 06 · PLAN AHEAD
BEFORE THE FIRST BITE
Sort Candy at Home
Have an adult inspect treats. Skip unwrapped or damaged items; check labels for food allergens.
